1. Information for the User

Who is responsible for processing your personal data?

Centro de Diseño Español is the CONTROLLER of the USER’s personal data and informs you that such data will be processed in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27 (GDPR), and Organic Law 3/2018 of December 5 (LOPDGDD).

 

For what purpose do we process your personal data?

To maintain a commercial relationship with the user. The planned operations for processing include:

  • Sending commercial and advertising communications by e-mail, fax, SMS, MMS, social networks, or any other electronic or physical means, present or future, that enables commercial communications. These communications will be carried out by the CONTROLLER and will be related to its products and services, or those of its partners or suppliers with whom an agreement has been reached. In this case, third parties will never have access to personal data.

  • Conducting market research and statistical analysis.

  • Processing orders, requests, responding to inquiries, or any type of request made by the USER through any of the contact forms provided on the CONTROLLER’s website.

  • Sending the online newsletter with news, offers, and promotions related to our activity.

 

Why are we allowed to process your personal data?

Because the processing is legitimized under Article 6 of the GDPR as follows:

  • With the USER’s consent: sending commercial communications and the newsletter.

  • For the CONTROLLER’s legitimate interest: conducting market research, statistical analysis, etc., and processing orders, requests, etc., at the USER’s request.

 

How long will we keep your personal data?

They will be kept no longer than necessary to maintain the purpose of the processing or as long as there are legal obligations requiring their retention. Once they are no longer needed, they will be deleted using appropriate security measures to ensure anonymization or total destruction.

 

Who do we share your personal data with?

No personal data will be shared with third parties unless necessary for the development and execution of the processing purposes, in which case they will be shared with our service providers related to communications, with whom the CONTROLLER has signed confidentiality and data processing agreements required by current privacy regulations.

 

What are your rights?

The USER has the following rights:

  • The right to withdraw consent at any time.

  • The right of access, rectification, portability, and erasure of data, as well as to restrict or object to its processing.

  • The right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (www.aepd.es) if they believe that the processing does not comply with current regulations.

2. Mandatory or Optional Nature of Information Provided by the User

By checking the corresponding boxes and entering data in the fields marked with an asterisk (*) in the contact form or forms available for download, USERS expressly and freely declare that their data is necessary to fulfill their request by the provider, with the inclusion of data in the remaining fields being voluntary. The USER guarantees that the personal data provided to the CONTROLLER are truthful and is responsible for notifying any changes to them.

The CONTROLLER informs that all data requested through the website is mandatory, as it is necessary to provide an optimal service to the USER. If all the required data is not provided, the quality and suitability of the information and services offered cannot be guaranteed.

 

3. Security Measures

In accordance with current regulations on the protection of personal data, the CONTROLLER complies with all provisions of the GDPR and LOPDGDD for processing personal data under its responsibility, and specifically with the principles described in Article 5 of the GDPR, by which they are processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently in relation to the data subject, and are adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.

The CONTROLLER guarantees that appropriate technical and organizational policies have been implemented to apply the security measures established by the GDPR and the LOPDGDD in order to protect the rights and freedoms of USERS, and has provided them with the appropriate information to exercise those rights.
